After the first two steps of Gathering Information and Design & Drafting are completed, we will proceed with the contracting phase. This begins by first approval of the drafting plans and budget set for your project; including updates from the previous meetings to ensure that everything is exactly specified and every last detail is perfected to our standards, set high for each of our customers. Once this is verified and approved, we require your signature of approval on the construction contract and you will need to secure the construction financing with your choice of lender(s). In many cases the lender may require plans and specifications for an appraisal and loan processing, which we can provide. After closing the construction loan and contract, Custom Dream Homes will obtain building and septic permits. We will also survey the lot, provide heating, cooling and ventilation calculations, and meet the required electrical and gas utilities demand. At this point we complete the customer selection list and finalize construction details to begin the exciting phase of Building!
